know that the owner- who didn't know it was stolen- has contacted me and i have gave them permission to keep the character. so, please do not harass this person. here is proof to that i am fine with them using this iteration of the design:

another thing... i appreciate everyone who has been inspired by this drawing, even though i really don't care for it anymore. i think it's funny that i have seen it in scenecore edits now, along with all the random reposts on tik tok, tumblr, twitter, pinterest, etc. the way memes evolve is truly fascinating! i have even seen people redraw this with their own OCs. so here's some stuff i feel like i should also say: it's fine to be inspired by these designs and to make spin-offs of them. however taking my art to sell as an adopt is not okay, and i would advise not to make your spin-off design look exactly like the design in the drawing as to avoid having ten people with the same character go "well who's stealing from who now?" asking people to credit me as the artist is fine! just don't be a dick about it. the sentiment is nice but this isn't a drawing i want people to die on a hill defending. art theft is a HUGE problem especially when regarding memes so the fact that people actually care to credit me (and others!) is very nice. i think asking people to credit artists, or to credit an artist yourself, is a great habit to pick up. and obviously if someone is using this drawing maliciously; hate speech, harassment, scams, NFTs, etc. I DON'T SUPPORT IT! why the hell would i? i am actually thinking on making a journal on my main talking about art and character theft within nu-sparkledog and scenecore communities. whenever that happens i will post it in the comments.
